Quantitative PortaCount fit test conducted in accordance with the Australian Standards AS/NZS 1715 and recommended fit test procedure of OSHA Respiratory Protection 1910.134 Appendix A
Please check what masks are used in your workplace to ensure you are tested for the correct mask.
We supply and test the following masks:
- 3M 1870+ Aura
- Softmed P2 SM-RA201
- Trident RTCFFP2
- Essity BSN Proshield (not used in hospitals)
- Halyard Fluidshield (not used in hospitals)
If your workplace is not using a mask on the above list, then you will need to provide your own mask for the test.
Please make sure you are clean-shaven (no facial hair) as it will interfere with the Fit Testing and will not give you a passing mark.
Please do not eat, drink or smoke for 30 minutes before your Fit Testing.
